A Visual Journey

My name is Phil Zalami, an Australian photographer and creative director with a 20-year history of shaping the landscape of visual arts.

As a youngster, my brother and I would embark on exciting excursions into the paddocks and farmlands. We'd traverse vast distances from dawn to dusk, immersing ourselves in the thrill of exploration. Along the way, we'd encounter fascinating animals, insects, reptiles, and beyond. This profound connection with nature laid the foundation for my love of photography.

Initially, my career led me to the world of graphic design and illustration within a corporate setting. Here, I fine-tuned my abilities and cultivated unwavering attention to detail. But as time passed, the daily grind of office life became suffocating.

It was the power of photography that reinvigorated my passion – granting me the ability to express the breathtaking beauty of landscapes and wildlife.

My ultimate mission? To capture a glimpse into our magnificent planet's captivating beauty through a singular creative perspective while taking the audience on a visual journey exploring new and uncovering hidden gems in the places we thought we knew so well.
